Printing Overview

Programmers using the HTML Gui interface will probably choose to use Internet Explorer to print their HTML documents(HTML Printing). Thus giving the printed document the same or similar look to the document seen on the screen.

However for more traditional print jobs you may want to use the RTF Printer. The RTF printer is the "LP" device in the default configuration. It acts like a traditional printer but actually creates an RTF file that is printed by WORDPAD.EXE.

There is also a Legacy Print Driver that sends characters directly to the printer. This driver works under both Windows and Linux. This driver has a more complex configuaration.
