DIM
PURPOSE:
To define string variables and arrays.
STATEMENT SYNTAX:
strings: {stno} DIM str var(expr,str expr),..
arrays: {stno} DIM variable[expr{,expr{,expr}}]{,...}
keyed string arrays: {stno} DIM ksa var{[mksize,alloc]}
templated strings: {stno} DIM str var:str expr
EXAMPLE:
0100 DIM A$(100);REM "Create string of 100 blanks"
0100 DIM B$(50,"X");REM "Create string of 50 X's"
0100 DIM X[4];REM "Create a 5 element (X[0] -> X[4]) numeric array"
0100 DIM X%[2,2];REM "Create a 9 element (X%[0,0]->X%[2,2]) integer array"
0100 DIM X$[10];REM "Create an array of 11 Strings"
0100 REM MK=max key length, A=allocation size
